Within the art industry, it’s very common for an expensive painting to have an expensive frame around it. That makes sense because it wouldn’t feel complete if it was fitted with one that doesn’t live up to the painting or isn’t present at all. The frame should enhance the painting.
When the Cristallor arrived in our store, the first thing that came to mind was that it somewhat looks like a Frame. A very beautiful one we must say. the different layers of the stepped case, draw you attention to the dial (canvas) like it should and in this case really make the watch stand out. You’ve got the feeling that your looking at something completely different whilst the dial is not much different then that from a regular tank. it really makes it feel like a piece of art.
