The Panthere motif officially made its entrance during the 1920s and 1930s.
Jeanne Toussaint, a close collaborator of Louis Cartier and the artistic director at Cartier, played an important role in creating the panther theme, transforming it into beautiful brooches, necklaces, and other jewellery pieces. Her creativity and deep affection for the Panthere earned her the nickname “La Panthère.”
Fast forward to the 1980s, and the Panthère watch collection made its debut. This specific example comes from 1990, crafted from a blend of stainless steel and yellow gold and comes with the original papers. It features a Quartz movement. The Panthère is an absolute timeless classic.
