Complimenting an Icon
Often referred to other models from Cartier, but this unique piece is identified as a Tank Rectangular Cintrée.
The Cintrée is one of the models from Cartier with the most interesting history. This particular example is a whole different story due to its association with the legendary Steve McQueen, as it was complimenting his wrist in the iconic film ‘’The Thomas Crown Affair’’.
As you may already know, we are in love with the classic design features from Cartier. This Cartier New York Cintrée is fitted with the classic white dial with black Roman numerals and of course the railroad track. The blued watch hands together blends perfectly together with the blue cabochon-topped winding crown. The case features all the hallmarks and the plating is in perfect condition.
The manual wind movement is fully serviced by our watchmakers and it obviously comes with a two-year warranty! Pick up this iconic piece of history.
