The Cal.89 is one of our favorite models from IWC due to the design variety the model offers. Everyone knows and admires the Cal.89, but still underrated in our opinion. There are a few aspects from vintage watches which adds value like ; condition, history, provenance etc. However there is still one thing which truly increases its desirability. Their design. 

We are slowly gravitating more towards timeless and different design aesthetics, which makes finding pieces like this even more satisfying. This Cal.89 is crafted in 18K Rose Gold which is uncommon to see. There are many tiny details to be found on the dial which we love. The dial is complimented with Rose Gold Arabic Numerals on the quarter hour-markers which is a stunning combination together with the Alpha hands. There is still one thing to mention. The so called ’Shark’ lugs is our favorite feature which doesn’t disturb its classy look, but rather adds depth to its aesthetic.
