Blue Datejust
The Datejust is first introduced in 1945 in celebration of the brand’s 40th anniversary. This makes it one of the oldest lines of watches Rolex still produces today.
Besides the previous innovation of the Oyster case in 1926 and the introduction of the special five-link Jubilee bracelet, the Datejust also featured a component that was a game-changer when it first got introduced to the watch world. The date aperture.
The date aperture at 3’o clock was and still is the distinguishing feature of the Rolex Datejust. Rolex truly set the tone with this new feature, and eventually set the standard for how date complications should look.
The aesthetic of the Datejust doesn’t only makes it a versatile and reliable wrist watch for everyday wear, but also an industry classic!
This Particulier Datejust is a 16234 reference. Featuring a Quick-set function and Sapphire Crystal Glass.
