Wood is commonly known for being used in construction and sometimes for luxury and quality craftsmanship.

This wood is selected specifically from the birch tree in places where it was either sick or damaged. In these places a much harder wood would form called a burl ideal for something to be used for a very long time. What else is special about this is that no birchwood dial is alike just like a much more expensive meteorite or stone dial.
