Rolex Day-Date 18238 ‘Myriad’ Dial

There is a myriad of Day-Date variations and this myriad is one of them.

We find this a funny joke but only after we learned the meaning of the word myriad.

The meaning and use of the ancient word myriad is 10.000 or when spoken about an indefinite large number. This contradicts the rarity of this Rolex Day-Date Myriad. Whilst diamond set day dates are not that uncommon, this specific lay out is. On first hand, the dial looks really clean but when taking a closer look, many little diamonds are to be found on the outer side of the dial giving it an extra dimension. What else makes this watch special is its condition. A beautiful patina can be found on the bracelet and between the lugs and the love marks confirm this watch is unpolished. A true vintage enthusiast watch worth seeing in person.
