Rolex Submariner 14060 No Date ‘Swiss’

The Submariner is by far the most iconic dive watch there is. The historical changes and stories within the model are unmatched. We had the pleasure to see a lot of different configurations from the Submariner, which is the exact same reason why we love the Submariner. The variety in their design makes them not only unique, but fun to collect. 

Most people usually can’t see the differences between certain watches, yet there have been so many changes since its introduction in 1953. The tiny design changes truly shows Rolex their craftsmanship and goal towards perfection. This particular example is one of our favourite references. The Submariner 14060.

The Submariner 14060 is introduced in 1990, while the 16610 complimented Rolex’s catalogue three years earlier. One key feature from the 14060 is the absence of the date window on the 3 hour position. The 14060 distinguishes itself because of this feature, and to be honest we prefer the 14060. The clean face makes the watch so much more aesthetically pleasing.

On the dial you see ‘Swiss’ which refers to the traditional dial from Tritium to Luminova.
