Ulysse Nardin 1950’s ‘Chronograph’

Refreshing.

That’s the first thing that comes to mind when we see watches like this. After years of learning, collecting and selling watches it really is cool to find watches like these. Underrated, yet filled with history and unique design features. It’s the first time we are offering a Ulysse Nardin, and it is immediately a rare one. It isn’t often that you find a well-preserved chronograph from Ulysse Nardin.

It’s very common to see restored parts/finishes with watches from the 50’s. This particular example is exactly how you’d like to find them. Genuine and Untouched.

The large 38mm stainless steel case is sharp, and uncommon to find at watches from that time period. The larger case size in combination with the beautiful pump pushers and unique dial lay-out is something we go crazy for. The sunken sub-dials, raised gold-toned Arabic numerals combined with its original dauphine hands are simply stunning.

The original signed manual winding movement is fully checked and serviced by our watchmakers. It doesn’t only runs perfectly, but looks perfectly as well. This piece isn’t for everybody, because it’s something else. It’s a piece for a true connoisseur which is invested in buying something sophisticated in stead of something trendy. Don’t hesitate to send us any messages regarding this beauty
