Maybe you guys don’t know that we are truly in love with this brand. Vacheron Constantin. It’s one of the brands that made us fall in love with vintage watches. Their history, different design aesthetics and overall craftsmanship is amazing.
Vacheron’s first Calatrava-style watches began to appear in the 1930’s as the company began to work with Jaeger LeCoultre. They collaborated to create movements in order to produce more modern wrist watches for an evolving market. The Vacheron 4073 began production in the early 1940 and is considered as one of the classics. The 4073 offers a wide variety of designs and styles which makes the reference desirable. This particular example is exactly how we want them. A beautiful and sharp 18K gold case with fresh hallmarks and ofcourse a simple yet elegant dial lay-out. The dial white dial is complimented with a sub-seconds, the applied Vacheron Constantin logo and the classic baton markers combined with double baton markers on the quarters. Simply stunning.Â
